The pilots' union BALPA has decided to call a pilots' strike on Thomas Cook UK Airlines flights on 8th September from 0301 to 1500 hours.
Our priority is to make sure all of our customers can still fly on holiday and back home with us and we are pleased to confirm that all of our flights on 8th September will operate.
In order to make sure that everyone can still travel with us during the strike period, we have made changes to the departure times of some of our flights on the 8th of September. We have tried to keep disruption to a minimum and apologise if these changes affect your plans or cause you inconvenience on that day.
The revised schedule can be found here and anyone travelling on these flights will be contacted in the next few days with their new departure time.
We will continue to work hard with the pilots’ union representatives to find a way forward and avoid strike action.
All other flights on the 8th of September are currently unaffected and customers should check in as normal but if the situation changes we will contact you.
Please note: even if the strike is cancelled the revised departure times above will not change.
Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you on-board soon. If there are any further changes we will communicate with customers directly affected , and our website will be updated.
If you have any questions please contact our Customer Service Team on 01733 224 536 who will be happy assist you.
